We want to encourage experienced rowers to join the club so we have established a guest rower program. Try rowing with us! Check the event calendar to find the next open row.
Visiting Port Townsend?
We enjoy rowing at other rowing clubs around the country and the world. We offer reciprocal rowing arrangements for members of other clubs. Our guest policy also allows lapsed rowers to join us on the beautiful waters of Port Townsend Bay.
Our guest rower policy allows experienced rowers to row with us three times in any one calendar for free. We ask that you do two things:
- Demonstrate to the row organizer that you know how to row sweep or sculling in a sliding seat shell. Mention your membership of a rowing club or college experience.
- Sign a release of liability form - these are available at the Kayak House.
If you want to continue rowing with us after your third row you can either join the club or use our pay per row scheme.
